Simulation

Dynamic simulation

Dynamic simulations are used to analyze buildings' thermal behavior. In each case, we prepare a virtual building model that takes account of the building's physical and structural characteristics, geometry, usage (differentiated) and geographic location.

Computer-aided building simulation is then used to answer the following types of questions reliably and precisely:

  • Impacts of sun-shading and facade design on the building's interior climate
  • Impacts of energy-storing structural components on thermal levels relative to human comfort
  • Expected perceived room temperatures
  • Frequency with which relevant temperature classes are exceeded
  • Safety with regard to the "26° degree ruling"
  • Assessment of improvements such as night ventilation or activation of structural components.
  • Efficiency of night ventilation
