Climate-friendly construction

A prime factor in determining a building's quality is the degree and ease with which the climate prevailing in the building – air quality, temperature, humidity and noise – can be controlled. The climate prevailing within a building has a decisive impact on the comfort (and even health) of the people working and living in the building. A building's indoor climate thus affects the motivation and productivity of those within the building. Compliance with secondary climate parameters also plays a central role in protecting a building's structural integrity, appointments and furnishings and technical systems.

Key aspects of our work:

  • Integrated, future-oriented planning

Early in the planning process, we coordinate all requirements, considering structural elements, technical systems and planned uses as a complete system. At the same time, we optimize the way the planned architecture is integrated within the technical concept and vice-versa

  • Simulation tools

play a key role in the design phase, in identifying, checking and optimizing building structures to provide high comfort levels and excellent energy efficiency

  • Use of innovative building technologies

Such as thermal heat exchangers, sunshade systems

  • Use of potential for enhancing efficiency
  • Reduction of energy requirements
  • Use of renewable energies
  • Lowering of investment and operational costs
