ZWP Ingenieur-AG helps international clients adapt their data center designs to the German market, particularly where the construction of new data centers is concerned.

Our range of services includes reviewing and adapting designs with IT power requirements ranging from 10 to 100 MW. We design each of our data centers with careful attention to the specific requirements of each hyperscaler.

Our job is to review designs drawn up by TBE planners unfamiliar with German regulations, ensuring they comply with local laws and are ready for approval.

We prepare the required planning documents and ensure compliance with all the relevant DIN standards and German building codes. During the approval phase, we coordinate with the appropriate authorities and liaise between the client and these agencies.

In order to comply with approval procedures stemming from Germany’s Federal Immission Control Ordinance (BImSchV), we consolidate all the necessary technical documentation and support the BImSchV specialist planner throughout the process.

In addition, we draw up technical specifications that are compliant with German normative and legal requirements for the tendering of the required technical components. We also adapt existing tender documentation in accordance with these specifications and translate this into German.

Our expertise ensures that the design is fully compliant with German requirements and has a smooth ride through the approval and execution process. Data center construction is supervised by our construction management specialists. The focus here is primarily on deadlines and quality that ensure a successful build.
