About ZWP

Since 1980, our engineers have been developing innovative, sustainable solutions tailored to our customers' specific requirements and thereby enhancing the efficiency and environmental performance of buildings and building services. The company was founded in 1980 by Bernhard Zibell, as an independent entity. In 1983, its name was changed to Zibell Willner & Partner Ingenieurgesellschaft für Technische Gebäudeausrüstung mbH. In 2009, the company changed its status from limited-liability company (GmbH) to stock corporation (AG) and was renamed "ZWP Ingenieur-AG".

With locations in Cologne, Berlin, Hamburg, Bochum, Dresden, Munich, Stuttgart and Wiesbaden, the company has a workforce of over 400 persons, including experts in all fields of building systems and services.

In our efforts to optimize construction in terms of costs and resources consumption, we emphasize holistic, sustainable concepts. To find the best balances between economics, ecology and aesthetics, we always view buildings as systems and emphasize "integrated" building planning. Such planning aims to create indoor environments and climates that are healthy, pleasant and comfortable ̶  and conducive to the productivity the customer is seeking.

In the form of a cross-shareholding relationship since 2015, ZWP Ingenieur-AG and BPR Dr. Schäpertöns Consult GmbH & Co. KG work together with a staff of over 500 people at over 20 locations throughout Germany. The alliance ZWP | BPR unleash synergies in all of the engineering disciplines in which the companies work - especially in the areas of services for buildings, transport facilities, energy systems and the environment.

Since 2016, ZWP Ingenieur-AG is a member in FirstQ Network. With a key focus on exchanging expertise in the field of planning and consultancy of technical building services, the network brings together strong European partner.
