Here you can find more information on the topic of Sound immission control.
Immission control considers the propagation of sound in the vicinity of planned buildings and facilities. The aim is to protect the neighborhood from harmful noise.
In the context of the construction of buildings or facilities, concerns of noise immission control, i.e. noise protection of the neighborhood from harmful environmental effects due to noise, are also frequently dealt with, which are assessed according to regulations, e.g. the Federal Immission Control Act and the Technical Instructions for Protection against Noise (TA Lärm). The protection of the environment against the effects of noise (environmental impact assessment) from technical building equipment, technical structures, from traffic routes, commercial and industrial facilities and sports facilities as well as recreational facilities often requires a prognosis calculation (simulation for sound propagation) for the noise emission and immission behavior in order to create the conditions for approval or to secure the location in the case of noise remediation or expansion. We will be happy to provide you with proof of the harmlessness of the noise.
